 Alissa has been a compass and map to turning our daughter's tragedy into a piece of Child Drowning legislation in Texas. 

There is no other person I  know that has had the biggest influence in the water safety industry as she has. She has vast  knowledge 

in water safety education and research. 

We will always be thankful for the humanitarian heart God has given her to help others. 

In January 2023, we brought Alissa on to serve as Interim Development Director to help us put on the 2023 Hill Country Ride for AIDS.  At the time, we did not have a Ride Director. 

Alissa jumped right in and helped us get our annual event over the finish line in April. Although she started out just helping with fundraising, she quickly impressed us with her non-profit management and people skills, and we made her our Acting Ride Director for the year.  She is currently training and mentoring our new Ride Director. 

Alissa is energetic, focused and highly collaborative.  She operates with the utmost integrity and brings a full heart and positive attitude to everything she does. 

She is an excellent team builder and an inspiring speaker.  With years of experience in the non-profit world, she handles people and project management equally well. 

 Austin Sunshine Camps hired Alissa Magrum as our Water Safety Advisor and we couldn't be happier!  She's brilliant, compassionate, and "all in" when it comes to her work.  Alissa has helped us take our water program to the next level when it comes to our policies, training, education, and so much more.  She goes above and beyond, and she dreams big, but she is also very practical and logical when it comes to day-to-day work.  Now that we've brought her on as a part of our team, I can't imagine our team without her!  
 

 Alissa serves as the Board President for Face in Water 501c3. She has guided the organization to success and spearheaded four international outreaches. If Alissa is going to do something, you know she will give it 100% and that her work will make a positive impact. She is a creative genius and a wealth of knowledge in the non-profit world.  Alissa looks at obstacles as puzzles to be solved and she can find a creative solution for anything that comes her way.

For almost ten years of knowing Alissa, she has always been a cheerleader of both my business and now newly formed non-profit.
